Oab not updating cached mode

For me, new colleagues are not showing up and the contact pictures aren’t displaying either. They do for my colleague sitting next to me, so I don’t think it is a server misconfiguration or something like that. One solution which is of particular interest is to get Outlook to use the online Global address list while working in cached mode itself. This does mean that the network traffic between the client and server will be more and there will be much more frequent lookup request against global catalog servers.Visit Stack Exchange When a new email address is added to our company's Exchange server it doesn't show up immediately on my Outlook, and I suspect that it's because of the "cached mode".When I disable cached mode and restart outlook I see the new address fine.

All it takes is a registry edit on the client machines to configure Outlook to use the global address list.

Depending on the Outlook version, edit the registry as stated below.

It should be noted that mobile users should be avoided from this registry edit as they won’t have an address book otherwise (while working offline)!

Now the correct information could be seen in cached mode for the user.

I might have a problem with my Offline Address Book in Outlook.
